During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of establishing long-term cooperation in implementation of the state scientific and technical programs, providing access to international research database and innovation, assisting in preparation of the scientific and highly qualified staff, professional development specialists in various fields, including in the field of economy , finance, humanities and social sciences.

The parties agreed to work together to ensure access of Uzbek scientists, experts, graduate students in research-based, online Wiley library, the press service of the Ministry said.

The British company expressed interest in cooperation in issue of joint organization of master classes and training seminars in Uzbekistan with involvement of the Wiley Research Academy.

The meeting participants also agreed to work out the issue of publishing joint scientific publications to provide opportunities for representatives of scientific and expert circles, including the republic’s youth, to publish scientific papers and articles.

Representatives of Wiley were invited to take part in the forum "INNOWEEK - Innovation Week", which will be held in September 2018 in Tashkent to present the potential, experience and technologies of the participating countries in the field of innovative development.
