Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On the sidelines of the XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Minister of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov met with the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the two republics were discussed.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted the good dynamics of relations between the two countries. - Your national leader, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is very actively promoting our business relations, - Minnikhanov emphasized, welcoming the delegation of Uzbekistan. He also acknowledged that many opportunities for talented youth are being created in Uzbekistan.

- Under the direct supervision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a radical reform of domestic science is being carried out, - said the Minister of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov. - The main task at the same time is the full use of the potential of domestic science and ensuring access to the world market of modern technologies, including through the transfer and commercialization of scientific developments.

At the same time, the parties discussed jointly implemented projects between the two countries, noting the existing problems and future prospects in this direction.
