Minimal rates for uninhabited premises renting set in Uzbekistan

The minimal rates were set by the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov "On forecast of main macroeconomic figures and parameters of State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2014" from 25 December 2013.

Currently, there are minimal sizes for habitation renting by individuals in Uzbekistan.

In order to expand tax base, Uzbekistan decided to introduce this practice to uninhabited premises, which are rented by individuals.

In 2014, the minimal rate for renting uninhabited premises for 1 square meter for a month set at 6,000 soums in Tashkent city, 4,000 soums in Nukus and cities of the regions and 2,000 soums in other settlements.
