Minimal rates for uninhabited and inhabited premises’ renting set in Uzbekistan

The minimal rates were set by the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan “On forecast of main macroeconomic figures and parameters of State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2017”.

In order to expand tax base, Uzbekistan decided to introduce this practice to uninhabited premises, which are rented by individuals.

In 2017, the minimal rate for renting uninhabited premises for 1 square meter for a month set at 9,000 soums in Tashkent city (6,000 soums in 2016), 6,000 soums in Nukus and cities of the regions (4,000 soums) and 3,000 soums in other settlements (2,000 soums).

The minimal rate for renting inhabited premises for 1 square meter for a month set at 4,500 soums in Tashkent city (3,000 soums in 2016), 3,000 soums in Nukus and cities of the regions (2,000 soums) and 1,500 soums in other settlements (1,000 soums).
