Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By Presidential resolution, the Military Music Academic Lyceum of the National Guard was established on the basis of the Republican Specialized Academic Lyceum of Music of the National Guard.

In order to provide scientific and methodological assistance to the Military Musical Academic Lyceum, the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent State Pedagogical University and the University of Public Security are assigned to it.

At the Military Musical Academic Lyceum:

as an exception, the existing classes of general secondary education are retained;

students are provided with free housing and meals;

students of 1-2 courses are provided with free uniforms approved by the commander of the National Guard;

training is conducted in the direction of education "Instrumental performance of wind and percussion instruments";

graduates are issued a state-recognised diploma, a badge, and are awarded the qualification "artist of the orchestra".

Graduates of the Military Musical Academic Lyceum upon admission to the higher military educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the scores of tests conducted by the State Testing Center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan are provided with a benefit in the form of additional points in the amount of 30 percent of their points, and upon admission to other state higher educational institutions of the republic - 15 percent of the points they scored (including creative exams).oils.
