Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A military delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the International Mine Action Centre of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation within the framework of the Russian-Uzbek staff talks.
During the visit, Indian specialists got acquainted with the Russian means of engineering weapons, the organization of the educational process, as well as the infrastructure of the International Mine Action Centre.
Within meeting discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of mine clearance, as well as the training of Indian troops on the basis of the International Mine Action Centre.
The military engineers of the centre showed the unique objects of the training base used in the process of preparing sappers, and also demonstrated practical actions for training specialists in humanitarian demining.
The delegation was also familiarized to the experience of mine clearing by Russian sappers of the territory of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the cities of the Syrian Arab Republic.
