Midwife of the maternity hospital sold a child for US$100
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A midwife of the maternity hospital in Yangiyul district of Tashkent region sold a child for US$100.
The midwife told the mother of the girl baby that her child died, the Prosecutor Office of Uzbekistan said. She also issued forged documents to a woman, who bought the girl baby.
The criminal case was opened. Investigative actions are underway.
