Michael Houlgate Appointed as Head of the British Council in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new head of the British Council has taken up his post in Uzbekistan. Michael Houlgate has been appointed Country Director in Tashkent and Cluster Lead for Central Asia.

In a LinkedIn post, Houlgate noted that he was pleased to begin his first full week in the role and expressed gratitude for the support he had received in Uzbekistan.
