During the negotiations, the sides discussed actual issues of bilateral cooperation and exchanged opinion on perspectives and opportunities of expansion of ties, the press service of the MFERIT said.
It was noted that Uzbekistan pays great attention to cooperation with the KFAED and highly rates its support in financing priority projects in Uzbekistan.
It was underlined that the visits at high level helped to boost bilateral trade-economic and investment cooperation. It was said that Uzbek President Islam Karimov visited Kuwait in January 2014, and Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
During cooperation, the KFAED allocated US$111.76 million to Uzbekistan to realize eight projects in such spheres as healthcare, communal services, development of transport infrastructure, irrigation network and drainage system.
