Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Operational headquarters have been created at the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan - the Embassy in Nur-Sultan, general consulates in Almaty and Aktau.
Particular attention is paid to citizens who find themselves in difficult conditions. Communication with students has been established. Work is underway to provide them with the necessary assistance. Hot meals are provided to citizens waiting for their flights at the Nur-Sultan airport.
Prompt assistance is provided in establishing communication between the citizens of Uzbekistan and their relatives and friends who are on the territory of Kazakhstan.
Lists of citizens wishing to return to Uzbekistan from Almaty have been compiled. They will be returned home by the next flights of Uzbekistan Airways. Currently, the Almaty airport remains closed.
Diplomatic and consular institutions of Uzbekistan are in constant contact with representatives of Kazakhstan’s law enforcement agencies in the field. Currently, there is no information about the detention of Uzbek citizens.
