MFA hosts meeting to discuss implementation of intl treaties

Representatives of the Senate and the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, ministries and departments, as well as scientific and analytical circles attended the meeting, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The event analyzed the current state of the legal framework of the Republic of Uzbekistan in this area and the prospects for its further improvement. Particular emphasis is placed on the role and importance of standardization, certification and metrology to develop and strengthen trade and economic and investment cooperation.

Following the meeting made recommendations to further improve the efficiency of the Agency Uzstandard in the implementation of international agreements in this sphere.

These review meetings are held on a regular basis to ensure the implementation of the Law "On International Treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan" in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the authority to monitor the implementation of international treaties.
