Mercedes-Benz Actros truck presented in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A presentation of an updated model of the Mercedes-Benz Actros truck was held in Tashkent.

The presentation was organized by the general distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Central Asia, Autocapital.

During the presentation, representatives of the Mercedes-Benz distributor spoke about the advantages of the updated model of the Mercedes-Benz Actros truck.

Mercedes Benz introduced the new Actros F to the market in January 2021. This truck is specially designed for consumers who are only interested in functionality.

According to the manufacturer, the Actros F is suitable for customers who are looking for a functional truck but do not need all the innovations present in the latest Actros generation. That is, they want a car with an attractive price-performance ratio that embodies the defining values of Mercedes-Benz. These include: high quality, reliability, efficiency, functionality, safety and high utility.

The Actros F is available in 17 variants and is only left-hand drive. The truck is ideal for regular and regional long-distance transport, especially as a swap vehicle, dump truck or tanker transport.

Mercedes-Benz engineers have paid particular attention to high comfort for drivers as well as maximum functionality for fleet operators. The new cab design in StreamSpace or BigSpace with a width of 2.5 meters and an engine tunnel height of 120 mm offers superior space for its class and also allows the driver to get on and off with ease.

The Actros F is supplied as standard with a classic cab as well as conventional glass mirrors. Combined with the navigation system, climate control and several options for the current generation Actros, a new convenient 10-inch multimedia system with a multifunction steering wheel has also been added.

The truck is equipped with Predictive Powertrain Control, which calibrates the automatic gearchanging according to the topography-adapted driving style and provides additional fuel economy when combined with a finely tuned shift strategy.

Also, the car is equipped with the fifth generation Active Brake Assist safety function. Optionally the Actros F can be equipped with Sideguard Assist.
