Mehribonlik houses attached to the National Guard

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential Resolution "On measures to introduce a radically updated system of raising orphans and children left without parental care" was adopted.

According to the Resolution, Mehribonlik houses, children’s townships, family orphanages and children’s homes (educational institutions) of the Ministry of Health system were added to the jurisdiction of the National Guard.

As part of the National Guard, the post of deputy commander of the National Guard was introduced, responsible for the effective organization of the process of education, upbringing, and leisure of youth in educational institutions.

According to the Resolution, servicemen and employees of the National Guard are assigned to family-type orphanages and orphanages, as well as orphans (under twenty-five years of age), taken into custody, guardianship and foster care (patronage).

Attached servicemen and officers study the state of education and living conditions of orphans and children left without parental care.

A rating system of educational institutions will be introduced by evaluating the results achieved by the students of educational institutions.

Until 1 January 2022, the University of Public Security will organize retraining and advanced training of teachers of educational institutions.

From 1 November  2021, funds will be created to support orphans and children left without parental care, included in the "Meur Daftari".

The social status of girls who are brought up in educational institutions, taken under guardianship, guardianship and upbringing in a family (patronage), is studied at least twice a year.

Girls brought up in educational institutions, taken under guardianship, guardianship and in the family for education (patronage), will be included in the "Mehr Daftari", they will be provided with comprehensive assistance in solving exciting problems and finding their place in life after graduation educational institutions.

Also, annually 25 educators of educational institutions will receive free treatment in sanatoriums of the system of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.
