Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 May 2022, at the Ministry of Finance, a meeting was held between representatives of the Ministry, the Agency for the Development of the Insurance Market and the Budget and Tax Institute with the Association of Mongolian Bankers, an industry association that unites all Mongolian banks and other related financial institutions that are engaged in banking and financial activities in Mongolia.

The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the banking and financial sector of Uzbekistan, search for investment opportunities and establish cooperation between the financial sectors of the two countries.

During the meeting, the Director of the Insurance Market Development Agency Mr. Kamoliddin Talipov made a presentation on the state of the insurance market in Uzbekistan. Shokhrukh Ishonkulov, Head of the Budget Policy and Consolidated Budget Formation Division of the State Budget Department of the Ministry of Finance made a presentation on the Budget and Fiscal Policy.

In turn, the representatives of Mongolia asked questions and at the end of the meeting expressed a desire to establish fruitful cooperation between the two countries in the financial and insurance sector.
