Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 April 2022, Deputy Khokim of Tashkent - Head of the Department of Investments and Foreign Trade Sharof Rakhmanov met with a delegation of businessmen from the Leningrad Region of the Russian Federation chaired by Dmitry Yalov, Deputy Prime Minister of Leningrad Region, the press service of the capital Khokimiyat reported.

After exchanging greetings, the leaders of both sides noted the relatively modest level of economic cooperation between Tashkent and the Leningrad region, despite the great prospects in this direction, and expressed mutual confidence in the breakthrough development of partnerships during the year.

Sharof Rakhmanov invited each of the guests to present their business, talk about plans and problems. The guests presented the following projects:

• The system of competent storage of goods for warehouses, libraries, retail (both raw materials and finished products), and the organization of logistics.

• Logging, timber processing, lumber with the prospect of localizing the production of wooden packaging. 

• Heat and sound insulating materials for construction - pipes and facades. 

• Goods for renovation, decorative panels, window sills, profiles, tablecloths, napkins. A network of specialized stores selling goods for repairs.

• Means of respiratory protection, respirators for builders, workers in the chemical industry, hazardous industries and ore mines.

• Decorative panels for countertops, furniture, interiors, wall decoration.

Sharof Rakhmanov got acquainted with the proposals and wishes of the guests, ordered to connect them with potential partners and assist in solving organizational issues.
