Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 November 2020, a meeting of the Council of Heads of Governments of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will be held in the format of a videoconference, chaired by the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As expected, the Heads of Governments will exchange views on topical issues of economic cooperation in the Commonwealth, overcoming the crisis phenomena caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

As part of the agenda, it is planned to discuss an action plan for the implementation of the first stage (for 2021-2025) of the CIS economic development strategy for the period up to 2030, as well as other programs and agreements regulating the interaction of the Commonwealth countries in various directions.

Following the meeting of the Council of Heads of Governments, a number of documents will be signed aimed at further strengthening and developing cooperation between the CIS member states.
