Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution "On measures to further support patients with hematological and oncological diseases" was adopted.
In accordance with the Resolution, the Center for Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Clinical Immunology will be removed from the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Hematology from 1 January 2022 and will operate independently.
Provision of palliative medical care to children with hematological and oncological diseases is one of the main tasks of the Center.
The resolution approved the concept of effective organization and development of the Center.
In the event that cancer and hematological patients are provided with preferential vouchers for treatment in the head medical organizations of the republic, their transportation costs are reimbursed from the local budget.
