Mass food poisoning recorded in Andijan region

According to the ministry, 212 people applied to the Central Regional Hospital of Shahrihan district of Andijan region with symptoms of food poisoning (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea).

About 186 people were hospitalized to various hospitals with preliminary diagnosis of food poisoning.

All of them consumed ice-cream of trade point Max in Shahrihan district within 24 hours.

The working group, including medical specialists, was created to investigate of mass food poisoning.

Specialists of the Shahrihan State Sanitary and Epidemic Control Center took samples of ice cream and water sources of the district for bacteriological and chemical research.

According to the Ministry, 33 hospitalized people are receiving treatment and their health is improving.

Interior Affairs Body of Shahrihan district are holding investigations.
