Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Council of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan has decided to release Mamaryzo Nurmuratov from his position as Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev submitted a proposal to the Senate for his resignation from the position of head of the Central Bank.

Mamaryzo Nurmuratov held this position since 2017.
