Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Kamarudin Jaffar arrived in Tashkent today, Dunyo news agency reported. 

In accordance with the program of the visit, Uzbek-Malaysian negotiations will be held in the Oliy Majlis, the Cabinet of Ministers, the ministries of foreign affairs, investments and foreign trade, a visit to the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, acquaintance with the sights of Tashkent and Samarkand. 

On 30 March, Kuala Lumpur hosted the fifth round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Malaysia, at which the state and prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
