Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- To ensure the implementation of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 485 from 14 August 2020 “On improving the rating system for assessing the effectiveness of citizens’ gatherings”, the decision of the khokim of the city of Tashkent J. Artikhodjaev No. 737 was adopted.

In accordance with the document, the activities of the chairman (aksakal) of the citizens ‘gathering, his deputies and advisers on law and order, family and women, social issues, landscaping, gardening and entrepreneurship, youth and veterans’ affairs, as well as the work of specialists and representatives of the gathering commissions citizens for family and women affairs will be reviewed and evaluated on a rating basis.

They will be assessed according to the criterion of effective activity based on the principle of "Comfortable and safe mahalla". Based on the rating, "exemplary", "good", "satisfactory" and "unsatisfactory" activities will be identified, and employees and persons acting on a voluntary basis in the interests of citizens’ gathering, whose activities will be recognized as "exemplary", will receive material rewards.

Also, measures will be determined to achieve the status of "exemplary" in gatherings of citizens with "good" activities, and to improve the activities of makhallas rated "satisfactory" and "unsatisfactory".

Assessment of the rating of the activities of citizens’ gatherings will be carried out by the city administration and regional offices of the Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the support of makhallas and families. The rating assessment will be based on the principles of legality, openness, objectivity, fairness, equality and transparency.

By the end of the year, employees and persons acting on a voluntary basis in the interests of gatherings of citizens of the city of Tashkent, whose activities will be recognized as "exemplary", will receive a one-time free ticket to one of the republic’s sanatoriums.
