Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 6 December 2025, at 02:04 local time, a magnitude 4.5 earthquake occurred in the Pap district of Namangan region of Uzbekistan.
The earthquake’s hypocenter was at a depth of 17 km, with the epicenter located at coordinates 40.89 N, 70.75 E.
The intensity of the tremors reached 5 points at the epicenter. Neighboring regions felt the tremors as follows: Namangan Region — 3 points, Fergana — 2–3 points, Andijan — 2 points, Tashkent — 2 points, Syrdarya — 2 points.
The epicenter is situated approximately 135 km southeast of the capital, Tashkent. No reports of damage or casualties have been received so far. Local authorities continue to monitor the situation.
