“Made in Uzbekistan”: Uzbek Products Showcased in Mazar-i-Sharif
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 18 to 20 June 2025, the second national and international exhibition is taking place in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, at the Maulana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi exhibition complex.
A large delegation from Uzbekistan, led by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has arrived to participate in the event. The delegation includes over 120 entrepreneurs representing a wide range of industries — from textiles and light industry to construction materials, food products, electrical engineering, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals.
The exhibition features a national stand under the banner “Made in Uzbekistan,” providing a platform to showcase modern innovations, goods, and technological solutions from Uzbek companies. The display attracted significant interest from local business communities and government representatives.
At the opening ceremony, Afghan officials highlighted the importance of economic partnership with Uzbekistan, particularly noting the active development of trade and economic ties. Asadullah Asadi, head of the Balkh Province Chamber of Commerce and Investment, expressed gratitude for the successful implementation of several joint projects over the past six months, carried out with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and relevant Afghan organizations.
During the exhibition, dedicated B2B platforms are facilitating direct negotiations between entrepreneurs from both countries. The meetings aim to deepen bilateral cooperation and result in mutually beneficial agreements and contracts.
