Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. 

The President of Belarus noted that the dialogue between Belarus and Uzbekistan is rapidly developing on the principles of mutual trust, respect, support and alliance. “Currently, Belarusian-Uzbek cooperation is on the rise: bilateral trade is growing at a record high, ties are being actively strengthened in various fields,” the congratulation says. “I am convinced that the constructive interaction between Minsk and Tashkent will continue to grow stronger, enriched by new large-scale joint projects for the benefit of the peoples of Belarus and Uzbekistan.”

Alexander Lukashenko wished Shavkat Mirziyoyev excellent health and success in implementing his plans, and the people of Uzbekistan - peace, kindness and prosperity.

The congratulatory message of the President of Uzbekistan, addressed to the President of Belarus, says that thanks to joint efforts in recent years, bilateral cooperation has reached a qualitatively new level and filled with specific practical content. “Today, our constructive interaction, based on the principles of openness and consideration of each other’s interests, covers a wide range of areas. The volume of mutual trade is steadily growing, important projects in the fields of industrial cooperation and agriculture are being successfully implemented, multifaceted ties between regions are deepening, and educational, cultural and humanitarian exchanges are expanding,” the message of congratulations says.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed that Uzbekistan is determined to continue the course towards further strengthening partnership with Belarus in the interests of both countries and peoples.
