Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva receives The Best Award

Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva received the award for her philanthropic activities over many years, as well as her contribution to promoting Uzbekistan’s culture and arts in Europe.

The annual “The Best Award" was founded in 1977 and in various years its recipients have included the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Omar Sharif, Andy Warhol and Marie-Helene de Rothschild.

Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva heads two major charitable organizations in Uzbekistan – the You Are Not Alone Foundation and the National Centre for the Social Adaptation of Children, which provide comprehensive assistance and support to children left without parental care and children with disabilities.
