Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President "On measures to improve the system of financing the costs of agricultural production and its purchases" was adopted.

For the Horticulture and Greenhouse Development Fund, the resolurion allocated a budget loan in the amount of 300 billion soums for a period of 12 months, including an eleven-month grace period, at a rate of 10 percent per annum.

The following funds are allocated from the budgetary loan:

agricultural enterprises - for the provision of agricultural services and the supply of material and technical resources, including seeds and seedlings necessary for growing fruits, grapes, vegetables, potatoes, melons, flowers, herbs and medicinal plants, corn grains, legumes and oilseeds;

processors, custodians and exporters, including the State Unitary Enterprise "Agroservice Operator" - to replenish the working capital required for the purchase of grown crops.

State Unitary Enterprise "Agroservice Operator" supplies the material and technical resources necessary for growing crops on the basis of a loan agreement for a period not exceeding the growing season of crops, at a rate of 14 percent per annum.
