The correspondent of Dunyo talked with the head of the agricultural standards group of the UN Economic Commission for Europe Liliana Annazzi-Jakab regarding the prospects of exporting Uzbek fruits and vegetables to European markets.
“We are pleased that the UN Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) Working Party on Agricultural Quality Standards has adopted the first international standard for dried melons,” she said. - This standard was initiated by Uzbekistan and developed in cooperation between the public and private sectors. It is very important for the development of local production, improving the quality and introducing dried melons into new export markets. The adoption of this standard opens up new opportunities for the export of dried melons to the European market, and we look forward to an increase in the supply of these products in our stores.
