Lift suppliers to be determined based on bids
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The Government of Uzbekistan introduced changes to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures on updating and repairing lifts at apartment houses in Uzbekistan” from 29 August 2010.
In line with the amendments, any local enterprises, specializing in production of lifts, can supply lift equipment, components and spare parts. At the same time, the vendors will be selected on competitive bases.
Earlier, Samarkand Lift Production Plant had right to supply lifts, components and spare parts to the houses in Uzbekistan.
