Lianne Kuppens becomes new head of WHO Country Office in Uzbekistan

On 3 February 2017, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held a meeting with Ms Kuppens.

New head of the WHO Country Office in Uzbekistan Lianne Kuppens presented the letter of the WHO Director-General Margaret Chan to the Minister on her appointment to Uzbekistan.

During the conversation, the sides discussed the state and prospects of development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the WHO, the implementation of joint projects and priorities for cooperation in the framework of the tasks of health care in Uzbekistan.
