Legislative Chamber amends some legislative acts

Amendments and additions to the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code are aimed at preserving the life and health of citizens. The criminal responsibility for promoting suicide strengthened in Uzbekistan.

In addition, Article 1031 is introduced in the Criminal Code, which establishes responsibility for the incitement to suicide, including through use of telecommunications networks, as well as Internet.

Amendments and additions to the Code on administrative responsibility, the Budget Code defines a specific list of persons authorized to draw up a protocol on an administrative offense, reduces the penalty for violating the rules of the passport system, reduces the dependence of local budgets on the republican budget.
