Legislative Chamber adopts draft law “On exchange and exchange activities” in second reading

The draft law introduces such notions as quoting, quoting price, trader, market manipulation, insider information, insider deals, market maker, etc.

According to MPs, the draft law allows to create single law enforcement in exchange activities, ensure balance of interests of the players, shareholders and the state, as well as harmonize legislation with international rules.

The draft law was discussed at over 50 events, which were attended by MPs, specialists and experts, representative of the state bodies. Their recommendations were included to the law

After the discussion, the Legislative Chamber passed the document and directed it to the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
