Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan at a meeting on 17 January approved amendments to the law on consumer credit. The amendments provide for the issuance of consumer loans for imported goods.
It should be noted that today consumer loans in Uzbekistan are issued only for domestic goods and services. As a result, consumers use installment plans to purchase goods and services.
The law has been sent for consideration to the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan. If the Senate adopts the document, the law must be signed by the President of Uzbekistan.
