Legislative Chamber adopts a resolution on changing the boundaries of Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution on changing the borders of the city of Tashkent.

The resolution on changing the borders of Zangiata district of Tashkent region and Sergeli district of Tashkent was adopted on 16 April 2019 in a session of the lower chamber of the Uzbek parliament.

In accordance with the document, the Pastdarkhon, Yukori Darkhon and Toshkent makhallas of Zangiata district of Tashkent region will be transferred to the Sergeli district of the capital.

The total area of three mahallas is 428 hectares. The population is 5824 citizens.

The Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan will consider this document.
