Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, in the format of a video conference, inter-ministerial consultations on inventory and improvement of the legal framework of Uzbek-Hungarian cooperation were held, the Dunyo news agency reported.
According to the Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary was headed by Director of the Department of International Law David Singer.
The parties discussed the current state of the legal framework, consisting of about 30 documents, and exchanged views on expanding the legal framework for bilateral cooperation.
During the event, the participants also reviewed the progress of drafting over 10 agreements and memorandums in the field of transport, energy, pharmaceuticals, culture and interregional cooperation. An agreement was reached to accelerate the approval of documents in order to prepare them for signing as part of future events at various levels.
In order to expand the interdepartmental political dialogue on issues of mutual interest, the experts also agreed to start developing a program of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
