During the event, the interest of the Uzbek side in the production of clothes in the republic under the brand of an Italian company, as well as the export of denim fabrics produced in Uzbekistan to Italy and other countries was noted.

It was emphasized that the production capacity of the textile industry in Uzbekistan has significantly increased, textile clusters are developing, much attention is paid to certification and standardization in accordance with the requirements of world markets.

The attention of the Italian side is drawn to the competitive advantages of the textile industry in Uzbekistan and the special conditions created for foreign investors. Information on the project for the construction of a special industrial zone for the production of textile products in the Namangan region is presented.

In turn, the head of Carrera Jeans Spa noted that the company already has experience in Uzbekistan. The company is currently considering new ways and strategies for development, as well as cooperation with its partners abroad. He also said that he visited Uzbekistan in early 2020 and was very impressed with the positive changes taking place in the country.

Representatives of domestic companies made presentations on the potential of enterprises and the possibilities for the production of an assortment of denim.

The Italian side noted the interest in the implementation of joint projects for the production and export of finished products from Uzbekistan. In this regard, it was announced that they were ready to visit the republic in the near future to get acquainted with the process of manufacturing textile products and establish cooperation with Uzbek companies.
