Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Presidential spokesman Sherzod Asadov provided information on guests arriving at the SCO summit.

The first high-ranking guest of the summit, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, arrived in Samarkand.

Also at this moment, the arrival of the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Rosemary Di Carlo, is expected.

Today the official visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi begins. He will arrive in Samarkand in the second half of the day, and negotiations at the highest level will take place today. As a result of the meeting, it is planned to sign documents on trade, cooperation, innovation, transport, energy, tourism and other areas.

Today in the afternoon, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov will also arrive in Samarkand.

All other guests are expected to arrive tomorrow, on 15 September.
