Laziz Kudratov holds series of meetings in London to strengthen strategic partnership with UK financial institutions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 13–14 October, during the official visit of Uzbekistan’s delegation to the United Kingdom, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held a series of meetings aimed at strengthening strategic partnerships with leading British financial institutions.

The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in infrastructure and industrial development, export financing, investment attraction in the energy and green economy sectors, and the issuance and circulation of financial instruments in international markets. Special attention was given to public-private partnership projects, financing of sustainable initiatives, and enhancing Uzbekistan’s investment appeal.

As part of the visit, the Minister also met with representatives of the investment banking sector, major financial groups, private equity funds, and international export credit agencies. The talks covered issues of deepening financial integration, developing trade mechanisms, and supporting joint projects.

The program concluded with participation in the investment roadshow “New Uzbekistan: A Big Country with Great Opportunities”, where key reforms, achievements, and priority directions of the country’s economic development were presented.
