In addition, the organization has a partnership at the global level, as well as 6 headquarters with operations in more than 80 countries. The company "GHERZI" took an active part in the development of the Strategy for the development of the textile and sewing and knitting industry for 2019-2023.

During the negotiations, issues related to the implementation of the project “Sustainable development and increase in value added in the cotton industry” in Uzbekistan carried out by the German Community for International Cooperation GIZ were discussed.

At the same time, the management of the Association informed the guests about the current state, development prospects, production, investment and export potential of the textile industry in Uzbekistan.

The foreign side noted the high economic achievements of the republic in recent years, as well as a significant increase in the textile and sewing and knitwear industry, accompanied by numerous implemented projects, a significant increase in export volumes and improved investment attractiveness.

Laurent Okuturie noted that Uzbekistan has created a unique cotton-textile cluster system in the world, where it is the textile enterprises that initiate the projects.

According to the delegation, this highly defined pace of strategic development of the industry could serve as a role model for the rest of the world.
