Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 July 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia Mihails Popkovs in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.

Uzbek Foreign Minister highly appreciated his personal contribution to the activation of the political dialogue between Uzbekistan and Latvia during his stay as the Head of the diplomatic mission in Tashkent.

The importance of enhancing the political dialogue, as well as deepening trade-economic and investment cooperation between the two countries was noted at the meeting.

M. Popkovs thanked for the continuous assistance and fruitful cooperation in his work as the Ambassador of Latvia to Uzbekistan.
