Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government resolution "On measures for the efficient use of land plots located under the surface metro lines under construction in the city of Tashkent"  was adopted.

According to the resolution, in order to effectively use land plots between 1-5 stations of the ground metro "Dustlik-Qoyliq" of the Tashkent metro, the following will be organized:

- walking and cycling paths;

- parking lots;

- parks for walks of residents;

- children’s and sports grounds.

The relevant land plots located under the ground metro lines are subject to inventory, and part of them, which does not affect the operation of the ground metro lines, is transferred to the reserve of the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent.

These land plots will be put up for auction through the E-Auksion electronic trading platform for the construction and placement of food trucks and lighting equipment with the right to lease for a period of 5 years, as an exception, in installments, in equal installments for up to 12 months.

On the land plots acquired through auctions, trade and service points, ready-made food sales, bookstores, parking lots, as well as cultural, leisure and sports grounds will be built.
