Labour Ministry’s officials to study in Japan
During the meeting, the Uzbek minister informed the guests on re-organization of the ministry, including its activities. It was noted that the ministry will work on employment of population, protection of labour rights and labour protection.
Japanese side briefed the Uzbek officials on the goals of the JDS project, which is aimed at helping the Government of Uzbekistan to train highly skilled cadres for the state bodies.
Within the project, 15 civil servants from the ministries and departments will study in leading Japanese universities in such directions as management, public finance, law and agriculture.
Wakako Hashimoto said that the Labour Ministry was also included to the project this year.
Within the meeting, the sides considered needs of the Ministry in specialists and opportunities of sending them to the Japanese university.
