Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to work on railway construction project

Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan will jointly work on construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway. This was stated by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov after talks with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
“There are plans for the development of road transport and regular passenger routes. Under the railway construction project, the working groups of the two countries will meet on 25 December,” Kyrgyz leader added.
“Already today we see the beginning of practical implementation of agreements on the establishment of joint ventures and the establishment of production lines,” President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said.
