Kwon Yong Woo appointed as Korean envoy to Uzbekistan

The Government of the Republic of Korea appointed new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the country to Uzbekistan. Kwon Yong Woo became the Korean envoy to Uzbekistan.
On 31 May, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Kwon Yong Woo.
According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Kwon Yong Woo presented copies of his credentials to Abdulaziz Kamilov.
During the conversation the sides exchanged views on the state and prospects of bilateral relations, discussed the implementation of agreements reached in the framework of the regular Uzbek-South Korean dialogue at the highest level.
