Krasnodar Krai Expands Partnership with Uzbek Regions
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Krasnodar Krai is stepping up cooperation with the Republic of Uzbekistan by signing a roadmap with Andijan Region. The event took place during a session of the Regional Council in Moscow Region, according to the press service of the regional administration.
Since 2023, Kuban and Andijan Region have maintained an agreement that has already yielded positive results: trade turnover has increased, joint investment projects are being implemented, and cultural and humanitarian ties have been strengthened.
Acting Vice-Governor of Krasnodar Krai Alexander Ruppel noted that signing the roadmap opens new opportunities for creating production chains, exchanging technologies, and expanding markets.
“Our relations with Uzbek regions are built on mutual trust and friendship, and we intend to continue developing this partnership,” he emphasized.
The parties confirmed their readiness to expand cooperation in industry, agriculture, transport and logistics, energy, science, and education.
Participation in the Regional Council marked another step in strengthening international partnership within the framework of the national project “International Cooperation and Export.”
