Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Kozimjon Kamilov left the post of chairman of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that Kozimjon Kamilov was re-elected to the post of Chairman of the Supreme Court for a second term in June 2022. His candidacy was unanimously approved by the senators. Kozimjon Kamilov was appointed to this position in 2017.

It is expected that the adviser to the President of Uzbekistan on the coordination of the activities of law enforcement and regulatory bodies Bakhtiyor Islamov may become the chairman of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan.

His candidacy for this post will be considered by the Senate.
