Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 October 2021, the head of the department for the development of information and communication technologies, Alikhan Akhmadjonov, met with a delegation of South Korean companies headed by the vice president of Dongmyung Technology Corporation Lee Jong Ho.

The partners from Korea are planning to create a master plan to improve the road transport system of Tashkent. The project involves improving road safety and the introduction of a "smart" transport management system. To determine the first steps in this work, Korean specialists need information about the current state of affairs in the digitalization of transport management, as well as data on the work of the situation center being prepared for launch.

The situation center is at the final stage of readiness, as soon as it is launched, an excursion will be organized for representatives of Korean companies to get acquainted with its work.

The parties agreed to continue close cooperation aimed at improving urban transport management with the introduction of modern technologies.
