Kolberg Production starts production of peanut butter
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Kolberg Production launched a line on production of peanut butter with the cost of US$400,000 in Tashkent.

The enterprise will produce the peanut butter under trademark Nuttis. The capacity of the plant is 1.62 million tonnes a year.

Director of Kolberg Production Timur Isaev said that the plant is equipped with equipment from China. At the same time, he said that the receipt of the paste was developed by local specialists.

He underlined that the enterprise mainly uses local raw materials. Kolberg Production purchases peanuts from local producers or distributors, he added.

Timur Isaev said that production is almost automatic, which allows modify technologic line based on demands of the market.

Isaev noted that the price of the product is 6,000-7,000 soums based on shop. The enterprise currently produces four types of peanut butter – classic, chocolate, classic with crunches (with crushed peanuts) and chocolate with crunches.

At the same time, he added that Kolberg Production is planning to expand assortment and begin production of salty peanut butter and peanut butter for people with disabilities.

Kolberg Production was founded and it is part of Kolberg Group. The company specializes in production of peanut butter, snacks and glazed sweets under trade mark Nuttis. The products are based on unique receipts of local specialists.

The company plans to increase its market share through expanding its network. Currently, it has branches in Samarkand, Ferghana, Navoi, Andijan, Namangan, Bukhara and other cities.
