Kobul Dusov Sentenced to 5 Years and 2 Months in Prison
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 13 June 2025, the Shaykhantakhur District Criminal Court delivered its verdict in the case of Kobul Dusov, born in 1984 in Samarkand region and previously convicted.
Presiding Judge A. Mirzakhonov found Dusov guilty under the following articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
The offenses were committed against five victims, including the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, officials from the education departments of Navoi region and Chirchik city, as well as a senior inspector from the probation division under the Tashkent Main Internal Affairs Directorate.
Taking into account Articles 59 and 61 of the Criminal Code, the court sentenced Dusov to 5 years and 1 month of imprisonment. Due to the partial addition of a previously unserved sentence from the Arnasay District Court ruling of 24 February 2025 (in accordance with Article 59, part 8 of the Criminal Code), the final sentence was set at 5 years and 2 months.
