According to the company, the specialists of KMPO completed work on launch of two gas compressor units with the NK-16ST engine at the fifth line of the propane-butane mixture production facility at Shortan field in Uzbekistan in July 2013.
The enterprise handed over units to the customer last year. The assembly works of the units have been carried out till July 2013.
The Russian company said that the units started to work and as of the beginning of August 2013, they worked about 1,000 hours.
Booster compressor station Shortan is located at the Shortan field in Kashkadarya region in southern Uzbekistan.
Its capacity makes up 40 million cubic meters of gas a day. It is designed for pumping additional gas to the existing station.
Shortan gas-condensate field is one of the largest in Uzbekistan. About 15 billion cubic meters of gas produced at the field a year.
