Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev dismissed several khokims and fined the khokim of Surkhandarya region. The head of the Uzbekchorvanasl agency was also fired.

Khokim of Andijan district of Andijan region Abdujabbor Egamberdiev, khokim of Asaka district of Andijan region Mansurbek Alikhonov and khokim of Ferghana district of Ferghana region Shukhratjon Muminov were dismissed in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State.

Also the khokim of Pakhtaabad district of Andijan region Elyorbek Usmonov, and the khokim of Nurabad district of Samarkand region Sherali Yuldashev were fired.

For unworthy actions in the hotel during a business trip to Namangan region, as well as other shortcomings in the work, the director of the Uzbekchorvanasl agency, Bakhtiyor Atamuradov, was fired.

In addition, a fine was imposed on the khokim of Surkhandarya region Tura Bobolov for organizing activities not in accordance with state policy and ongoing reforms, for insulting meeting participants and provoking public discontent.
